Gateway's Profile section allows vendors to make edits/view their accounts. There are two access roles a vendor can have, Owner and Member. An owner has the capability to edit sensitive information and sign contracts on account level while a member is able to view all the information. 



Step 1: Log into Gateway


Step 2: On the left-hand navigation scroll down and click the "Profile" tab



Step 3: Below is how your page should look once you click on "Profile"


Step 4: The main tabs are shown below. Click into each tab to be able to edit/view the fields.


Owner Role Capabilities:

Owners also have the capability to create a user or resend user invites. If you would like to resend an invite or add another user please follow the steps below.


Step 1: On the Profile page select “Users” on the top right corner


Step 2: If you would like to add another user, select the “Add User” plus sign on the bottom left. Once you click on the Add User, input the First Name/Last Name, Email, and if you want them to have Owner access or Member access. Once you are done inputting that information click save. 



Step 3: If you would like to resend an invite to an existing member then click the green Resend button.

If an error occurs while saving your account information, confirm the following:


  1. You must have Owner access to be able to edit account information. 
  2. Make sure your Business Address is not a P.O. box and is a valid address as it will get verified by Gateway. U.S. and CA addresses accepted. 
  3. Phone number cannot have dashes, spaces, or extensions- it will allow and validate 10 digits only
  4. Shipping address has to be a U.S. address as we do not support shipments outside the U.S. Do not use P.O. box addresses and make sure it's a valid address as it will get verified by Gateway.
  5. If bank country is set to U.S., the TIN has to be 9 digits, do not include dashes, spaces, or any special characters. Make sure that the TIN corresponds to the legal business name as stated on your W9 form. 
  6. If bank country is set to Canada, TIN is optional.
  7. If bank country is set to U.S., the Bank Account No. has to be between 7 - 17 digits. Do not include dashes, spaces, or any special characters.
  8. If bank country is set to Canada, the Bank Account No. has to be between 5 - 22 digits. Do not include dashes, spaces, or any special characters.
  9.  Banking information in the Gateway platform must be identical with your banking information in the Commerce Interface platform.
