Each product goes through a series of approvals in order to decide if the product group is up to Groupon's standards. To view the approval status of your product, navigate to your Inventory page using the lefthand menu. To the right of your product name is a column called “Approval Status”, which shows your product’s approval status.


  • Rejected: Product cannot be accepted due to an issue. Hover over the “Rejected” box in order to see what issue you need to fix before your product can be accepted.
  • Pending: Product is waiting to pass approval checks from Groupon
  • Approved: Product has passed all approvals and is ready to go live
